2016 is almost at an end. Our final day is Friday 16 December.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of our students on their efforts this year.

Each one of you have achieved success whether that be in your learning goals, your transition goals or your key competency goals. Your efforts, despite the challenges you face with your health, always impress me. Well done!

Thank you to all the people who have supported our students to achieve their goals. Working in partnership with family, whanau, health professionals, regular school teachers and support workers means that our students have the best possible outcomes. But we cannot forget the work of our team of SHS teachers. Through their hard work and committment to supporting students, our students are able to achieve their goals. Thank you!

I would like to wish you all a safe and relaxing summer. And whether you are returning to SHS, your regular school, further study or employment I wish you all the best for 2017.

Pipitori nga kanohi; koko taia nga waewae; whenua i mamao, tenei rawa.
With the sharp eyes of the bird and quick moving feet, you will get to where you want to go.
