Who can believe that the end of term is here already and day light saving ends this weekend so don’t forget to put your clocks back one hour and have a sleep in.

During Term 1 the number of students we are teaching has steadily increased. Teachers have been using innovative ways to help students to be engaged, connected and resilient.

Students in hospital have been keeping in touch with their regular school by having a soft toy go to school in their place. The class includes the toy in all activities and by sharing photos and having Skype conversations the student in hospital remains involved in the class activities.

Some students have been working on online courses through Google classroom that their teachers have developed.

Teachers spent some time learning about health conditions and how they affect students’ learning. This helps them to support a student’s health team build resilience to enable students to return to their regular school.

We look forward to further innovation in Term 2.

We hope you enjoy the Easter break and if you are going away travel safely.
